There is an explosion of colour in the garden at the moment! It seems that every little bush and shrub is in competition to produce the prettiest and most colourful bloom. The soundtrack to this rainbow of colour is of course the hypnotic humming of bees. The bees don't seem to be the only ones to appreciate the feast of flowers. Luna, one of our cats, made herself comfortable in a soft fragrant spot surrounded by honey bees.

It's official the cold weather makes my skin dry!

 

The change in climate had an immediate effect on my skin when we moved to Tasmania twelve months ago. It didn't seem to matter how much I moisturised my skin always felt really dry.

 

I started to use a little avocado oil on my face after cleansing and before putting on my moisturiser - it really helped so I came up with the idea of blending some of the "super" oils together as a nourishing boost.

The oil has been pretty popular item on market days and the feedback has been really positive.

A highly nourishing and restoring blend of "super"oils (rose hip, avocado, evening primrose) to combat dryness and assist with skin texture. Apply 4-6 drops of Skin Restore oil after cleansing and toning skin. Lightly massage in an upwards motion on face and neck. Apply to décolletage area for silky soft cleavage. Use as required morning or night. In colder months increase dose to help combat dryness. Beneficial for all skin types

Packed with chamomile flowers, rose petals, dried orange rind and local lavender flowers - these specialty bath salts look and smell Divine!

 

The special combination of salts and botanicals  are blended together to help stem anger and wrathful feelings.

 

To use: Infuse half a cup to a cup  into warm bath and soak for 10-20 minutes. Visualise all negative feelings seeping into the water, then, pull the plug and see it all drain away! Always remember to sip a glass of water whilst having a bath to avoid dehydration.

All Saints Market 339 Macquarie Street, Hobart.

Despite the often cold wind and threat of rain market goers were rewarded for their effort today with an impressive array of stalls. From stunning antique jewellery, hand knitted socks and bonnets, homemade sweets and treats, a great selection of pre-loved clothes, plants, books, exquisite handcrafted papers and cards, beautiful Japanese fabric, Lotus Child of course, to hand puppets and the church's own amazing Op Shop with a difference - The Jesse Tree, there was something for everyone!

Spiced pumpkin soup + homemade savoury muffins went down a treat while listening to the very pretty sounds coming from Helen Morrison and her harp!

Next market is Saturday 29th September from 9am to 2pm - worth a look for sure!
